What is App helper process?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

A background helper that belongs to the app named at the start.

Many apps, especially browsers and Electron apps, run work in separate '... Helper' processes for stability and security. The first part of the name is usually the app it belongs to. Seeing several helpers for one app is normal.
