What is App updater?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

A background updater that keeps an app up to date.

Many apps install a small updater that checks for new versions in the background, even when the app is closed. These are normal and important for getting security fixes. They usually run briefly and then exit or sit idle.
