What is CptHost (Zoom) on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

Zoom's screen-sharing host process, used when you share your screen.

CptHost is a helper app bundled inside Zoom (in zoom.us.app's Frameworks folder) that's associated with Zoom's screen sharing. It's active while you share your screen. If you find a CptHost outside Zoom's app folder, treat it with suspicion and check where it lives.
