What is ruby on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

The Ruby language running a script or tool, such as Rails, CocoaPods or Homebrew.

ruby runs programs written in Ruby. Common examples are Rails development servers, CocoaPods, Fastlane and parts of Homebrew. It's busy while that tool is working and exits when it's done.
