What is 1Password on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

The 1Password password manager and its browser helper.

1Password stores your passwords and fills them in apps and browsers. It keeps running in the background (often in the menu bar) so it can unlock quickly and talk to its browser extension. Its helper processes keep the app and browser extension in sync.
