What is accountsd on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

Stores your internet accounts (iCloud, Google, Microsoft and others) and shares them with apps.

accountsd manages the accounts you add in System Settings > Internet Accounts, such as iCloud, Google, Microsoft Exchange and others. Apps like Mail, Calendar and Contacts ask it for account details instead of storing your credentials themselves. It's normally light.
