What is containermanagerd on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

Creates and manages the private storage 'containers' that sandboxed apps keep their data in.

containermanagerd creates, removes and manages containers: the private folders where sandboxed apps (including most App Store apps) keep their data, separate from other apps. It works with the sandbox to keep apps isolated. It's normally light.
