What is Notion on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

The Notion notes and docs app (built on Electron) and its helper processes.

Notion's desktop app is built with Electron, so it runs a main process plus Renderer, GPU and utility helpers, much like a web browser. Large pages and databases with many blocks, images or embeds increase its memory and CPU use.
