What is Obsidian on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

The Obsidian notes app (built on Electron) and its helper processes.

Obsidian is a Markdown notes app built with Electron, so it runs a main process plus Renderer, GPU and utility helpers. Large vaults, the graph view and community plugins are the usual reasons for higher usage.
