What is usernoted on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

Delivers notifications from apps and the system so they can appear on screen.

usernoted is the Notification Center daemon. It receives notifications from apps and from macOS, applies your notification settings and Focus rules, and stores them so they can be shown as banners and in Notification Center. It runs all the time and is usually very light.
