What is WiFiAgent on Mac?

By Junaid, maker of Taskglass · Last reviewed

Handles Wi-Fi tasks for you, like login pages and network prompts, on behalf of airportd.

WiFiAgent is the per-user Wi-Fi helper. It performs Wi-Fi tasks for the airportd daemon that need to happen in your login session, such as showing network prompts and captive portal login pages at hotels or cafés. It's normally idle.
